The machine tool and column of the gantry machining center GL42 series are made of new materials with new technologies of German UHPC, which have excellent shock absorption, low thermal expansion coefficient, low thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, room temperature casting, and low internal stress after solidification. The worktable, slider, spindle box and other moving parts of the machine adopt advanced steel plate welding technology, which has high rigidity, reduces the weight of moving parts, reduces the motion inertia potential energy, and improves the response speed and motion accuracy of the machine tool.

The three coordinate moving parts of the gantry machining center GL42 series are supported by heavy load roller linear guide rail, and also equipped with roller retainer ring to prevent deviation, achieve balanced and stable movement, and ensure the accuracy and stability of the machine tool in long-term operation. The spindle box adopts a large section slider structure, supported by a heavy load roller linear guide rail, which has strong resistance to the spindle crosscutting, and can realize strong cutting of Z-axis full stroke. Double balancing cylinders are adopted for Z-axis, which can eliminate the unbalanced torque caused by dead weight.
